You were thought of during this time. Knew you’d be okay with your designing of your property. But so much water in one hit …!?

I was interested in your power supply arrangement as we were not so prepared. Solar is fine for a few days without sun but as a permanent measure? We have solar but that feeds into the grid with no backup solar. We have been ‘thinking’ about solar backup! It sounds like it may be the best option!?

I liked the idea of a cellar! We lost our food in the freezer, even though a neighbour kindly let us use his generator on two occasions but it was not sustainable. Our power & phone were out for 4 days in Cootharaba.
I have NOT turned on the freezer again! I have a small one with the fridge. I am looking at other ways of keeping/preserving food or just eat fresh for now. Changing what we eat!

You have experience in cooking with different & interesting recipes.
If ever you produce a Cookbook (or have you!?), I will be the first to buy a copy!
