Music on the Farm and Farm Tour

At 12 noon on Saturday 7 August Tom Kendall will give you an educational experience when he takes you around the Kendall Permaculture Farm and shows all the interconnected systems. Food forestry, the Biogas Bio-digester, animal systems, composting systems, kitchen garden, Syntropic Market Gardens, water management and much more! This tour is by donation, proceeds help us maintain and run the farm and train others.

The tour is followed by some wonderful music by local artists: Whipbird and Copper ‘n Clove starting at 2.30pm. The donation tin will be out to support these local artists, so please give generously!

Bring your picnic rug or chairs, food and a mug and enjoy our home made cakes and chai, tea or coffee whilst listening to some great music. Cakes, tea and coffee by gold coin donation.

WHIPBIRD:
When the rich sounds and sensitivity of the acoustic harp and guitar are lovingly blended the result is a marriage of rhythms & harmonies flowing in charismatic song.
Renowned Harpist, Hayley Erin, brings a full energetic presence, whilst the Guitar performed by Gary Ward is the backbone bringing decades of wisdom & opportunity to each song.
Aptly named ‘WhipBird’, the iconic Australian bird whose soothing song is not only rhythmic & melodic but actually a call & response performed by the male & female in perfect synchronicity.
WhipBird is a Two Piece Outfit ready to being the wonders of music to your event.
“Close your eyes and let the magic of WhipBird elevate your spirit as this Divine Duo mix and fuse a delicious blend of musical genres that will see you tapping your feet and beaming ear to ear. To listen to WhipBird is to be touched by the wonder, awe and mystical power of music when it comes from a humble and surrendered heart.” – A. Good, Noosa
COPPER ‘N CLOVE:
Hailing from the hills, Copper ‘n Clove are a folk duo inspired by old time traditions. With a mixed bag of songs they take you on a journey of stories untold. In particular they pay homage to the Appalachian era, featuring claw hammer banjo, folk guitar and vocal harmonies. With songs rediscovered and reworked, these gals are up for a toe tappin’, hat slappin’ good ol’ time!

We look forward to seeing you then!
