DESCRIPTION:Online Permaculture Design Certificate course over 6 weeks. By donation\, pay what you can afford!\nThe online course starting Monday 18 October 2021 is now fully booked. Please book in for a course in 2022 on the form below.\nWe have recorded our residential Permaculture Design Certificate course delivery and made it available online. We will run it several times per year during a designated timeframe. You will need to book in for this course. Bookings are taken at the bottom of this page\, but please read the remainder of this information prior to filling out the booking form. \nThe Permaculture Design Certificate is a 72 hour theoretical course based on Bill Mollison’s Designers Manual. It teaches how we can use today’s tools and technology to create a more sustainable and equitable world for all species. Permaculture is more than just gardening\, it is a design system for a truly sustainable and self sufficient lifestyle. The course is run by the PermEco Inc.\, taught by Tom Kendall and your certificate is recognised and highly regarded world wide. \n\nTom Kendall is a permaculture farmer with over 40 years farming experience. He is co-founder of the PRI Sunshine Coast Inc (now PermEco Inc.) and PRI Luganville\, Vanuatu and teaches Permaculture courses on his Permaculture Demonstration Site Kendall Permaculture Farm. Tom has co-taught Permaculture Design Certificate courses with Geoff Lawton and has taught Permaculture courses in Australia and overseas. He has been a Permaculture Research Institute accredited teacher for 5 years and is part of our environmental advisory team and Geoff Lawton’s Permaculture Consultants team\, doing regular consultations for local and international land owners and NGOs. For complete bio click here. \nPlease note: Our courses are non-denominational; we do not include any spiritual practices and welcome people from all cultural\, spiritual and religious backgrounds. The course material is science and observation based. \nClick here to read student feedback.\n\nWe deliver the theoretical Permaculture Design Certificate course with lots of visual examples of implementations on our farm.   Tom will answer any questions that may have come up via a live stream in the course. Questions can be submitted to us via a simple form at the end of each session\, and will be answered during the live stream 2 times per week during the course. The live stream will be saved as part of the course if you cannot see it live on the day.\n\n\nYou will need to login every day and each section of the course needs to be completed. You will need to complete 90% of the course plus submit an assignment in order to get your Permaculture Design Certificate. Confirmation of attendance and booking in to attend the course is required\, and the course is by donation\, pay what you can afford. Donations can be made via our website\, click here to go to our donate page. \nWe create a group for each Online Permaculture Design Certificate course on our community social page which we will invite you to. The group will keep you updated with messages and news during the course\, please check the group regularly. We will also have a forum for the Permaculture Design Certificate course group which will function as a question and answer forum\, where students and facilitators can answer participants’ questions. \nWe feel that it is urgent for this information to go into the world. We wanted to ensure we can still deliver the course while social distancing\, and we have recorded and uploaded this course to our site. The course will be a work in progress\, with more material added all the time. This course runs over 5 weekends and is by donation\, whatever you can afford.\nThe Permaculture Design Certificate is a 72 hour theoretical course based on Bill Mollison’s Designers Manual. It teaches how we can use today’s tools and technology to create a more sustainable and equitable world for all species. Permaculture is more than just gardening\, it is a design system for a truly sustainable and self sufficient lifestyle. The course is run by PermEco Inc. (previously known as  Permaculture Research Institute Sunshine Coast Inc.) and is taught by international permaculture teacher and consultant Tom Kendall. Your PDC certificate will be recognised and well regarded world wide. \nWe try to cater to individual needs of the students based on their travels of the permaculture journey. There will be some practical components in this course. \n \nDuring this PDC course you will be introduced to farm activities\, from holistic animal management to feeding the bio-digester\, from compost making to planting and more. As this is a working farm with a lot of permaculture systems\, introduction to the systems encourages better integration of the PDC course information. \n \nTom Kendall is a permaculture farmer with over 40 years farming experience. DESCRIPTION:Online PDC course over 6 weeks. By donation\, pay what you can afford!\nWe have recorded our residential PDC course delivery and made it available online. We will run it several times per year during a designated timeframe. You will need to book in for this course. Bookings are taken at the bottom of this page\, but please read the remainder of this information prior to filling out the booking form. \nThe Permaculture Design Certificate is a 72 hour theoretical course based on Bill Mollison’s Designers Manual. It teaches how we can use today’s tools and technology to create a more sustainable and equitable world for all species. Permaculture is more than just gardening\, it is a design system for a truly sustainable and self sufficient lifestyle. The course is run by the PermEco Inc.\, taught by Tom Kendall and your certificate is accredited by PRI Australia\,  recognised and highly regarded world wide. \n\nTom Kendall is a permaculture farmer with over 40 years farming experience. He is co-founder of the PRI Sunshine Coast Inc (now PermEco Inc.) and PRI Luganville\, Vanuatu and teaches Permaculture courses on his Permaculture Demonstration Site Kendall Permaculture Farm. Tom has co-taught PDC courses with Geoff Lawton and has taught Permaculture courses in Australia and overseas. He is a PRI (Permaculture Research Institute) accredited teacher and part of our environmental advisory team and Geoff Lawton’s Permaculture Consultants team\, doing regular consultations for local and international land owners and NGOs. For complete bio click here. \nPlease note: Our courses are non-denominational; we do not include any spiritual practices and welcome people from all cultural\, spiritual and religious backgrounds. The course material is science and observation based. \nClick here to read student feedback.\n\nWe deliver the theoretical PDC course with lots of visual examples of implementations on our farm.   Tom will answer any questions that may have come up via a live stream in the course. Questions can be submitted to us via a simple form at the end of each session\, and will be answered during the live stream 3 times per week during the course. The live stream will be saved as part of the course if you cannot see it live on the day.\n\n\nYou will need to login every day and each section of the course needs to be completed. You will need to complete 90% of the course plus submit an assignment in order to get your certificate. Confirmation of attendance and booking in to attend the course is required\, and the course is by donation\, pay what you can afford. Donations can be made via our website\, via Patreon or by direct deposit. \nWe create a group for each PDC course on our community social page which we will invite you to. The group will keep you updated with messages and news during the course\, please check the group regularly. We will also have a forum for the PDC group which will function as a question and answer forum\, where students and facilitators can answer participants’ questions. \nWe feel that it is urgent for this information to go into the world. We wanted to ensure we can still deliver the course while social distancing\, and we have recorded and uploaded this course to our site. The course will be a work in progress\, with more material added all the time. DESCRIPTION:Our tours are an educational experience! The tour takes 2 1/2 to 3 hours and lifelong farmer Tom Kendall will take you on a journey\, talking about the interconnecting sustainable systems on the farm. Systems shown include food forests\, swales\, the biogas bio-digester\, animal systems and much more. \nNo bookings are required for the tour\, please arrive by 1.15pm so that you can check in for Covid tracing purposes and the tour can start at 1.30pm. The tour is followed by afternoon tea at the Jindill shelter where you can ask questions and connect with others. The tour and afternoon tea are by donation. \nPlease ensure you check in for Covid tracing upon arrival by scanning the QR code. Someone will be at the gate to assist you if necessary.
