Maungaraeeda is offering to share some space (when available) with people who would like to experience staying at a genuine Permaculture farm. A caravan is available with a queen bed and an indoor and outdoor sitting area, and there are some sites available for people to pitch a tent or bring their own van.
There is a shared basic bathroom with shower and sink, and a communal area with a camp kitchen and living space. The camp kitchen has a fridge, storage for dry goods and rocket stoves for cooking. There is a composting toilet available for your use. These facilities are shared with other farm stay guests and volunteers or trainees on the property. There is a general store close by which also is a cafe with fantastic food cooked from locally grown produce, with theme nights every third Saturday of the month and pizza night once a week. They also do excellent breakfasts and lunches!
Noosa trails are just 1 kilometre away and Lake Cootharaba is a 20 minute drive. You can get to Noosa’s beaches in around 40 minutes by car.
You can walk around the farm and see us feeding the animals in the morning, have a look at the food forest and the garden and have a gentle swim in our pond.
